The Obvius Configuration Console (OCC) is a windows application designed to configure and verify operation of Obvius IO devices. The OCC can be used to update the device configuration
parameters such as the Modbus address on an A89DC-08, the encryption key in the R9120-5, radio channel selection on the wireless line of Modhoppers, or activation of relays on A8332-8F2D. The software can also be used to verify operation of any Obvius device by displaying the current
input readings for each device input. The software supports LAN communications via Modbus/TCP and can also use a variety of Serial connections including USB/232 (requires IO device firmware update) and USB/485 adapters for Modbus/RTU.
- System Requirements: Windows XP SP3, and Windows Vista/32 SP1.
- Note: Due to limited USB/Serial driver support for Windows Vista/64, Obvius strongly recommends using Windows Vista/32 or Windows XP with the Obvius Config Console. For USB/Serial adapter support, contact the adapter manufacturer for Windows Vista/64 compatible drivers
- Supported protocols: Modbus/RTU and Modbus/TCP
- Supported hardware: Obvius A89DC-08, A8911-23, A8332-8F2D, R9120, and R24120.
