The A89WSW- Weather Station from Obvius is the first do-it-yourself wireless system designed specifically for the renewables market. The Station provides high performance and low cost for meteorological sensing. Each system can incorporate a multitude of sensor combinations, to meet the exact requirements of the user. The sensors options include, but are not limited to the following:
- Anemometer (wind speed & direction)
- Pyranometer (solar radiation)
- Temperature/Temp & Humidity
- Cell Temperature
When integrated with the Acquisuite data acquisition server the weather station provides a simplistic and cost effective means for measurement and verification of your solar applications. By charting both wind speed & direction and solar radiation, the owner can use this as a comparative analysis for average PV cell generation to approximate what expected output should be.
